Printing

Print jobs are $0.15/page for black & white copies, and $0.30/page for color copies. 

We have implemented Princh, a new printing solution, at the library to easily and securely print from a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, both remotely and at the library.

Printing from your mobile phone or a tablet:

  1.  When printing at the library: locate the print guide poster near the Help Desk and scan the QR code. When printing remotely: open your browser, go to print.princh.com and enter the 6-digit printer ID - 110380.
  2. Upload your document(s).
  3. Adjust the settings.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Proceed to the staff desk to pay for and finalize your print job.

Printing from your laptop:

  1. When printing remotely or at the library: open your browser, go to print.princh.com and enter the 6-digit printer ID - 110380.
  2. Upload your document(s).
  3. Adjust the settings.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Proceed to the staff desk to pay for and finalize your print job.

Print jobs can be picked up during the library's normal business hours.

If you need help, you can always ask staff to assist!

Copies & Faxing 

Photocopies and printing jobs are $0.15/page for black & white copies, and $0.30/page for color copies. 

Fax rates:

  • Local area and toll-free numbers: $1.00 for the first page, and $0.25 for each additional page. 
  • All other numbers: $3.00 for the first page, and $1.00 for each additional page. 
  • Incoming fax: $0.15 per page

Study Rooms 

The library's study rooms are free and open to the public and are available on a first-come first-served basis. Library patrons will need to sign in at the Adult Services Desk prior to using one of the study rooms and patrons will need to adhere to a three hour time limit when using the study room.

Museum Passes

We offer free or discounted museum passes for the Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine, Maine State Parks, Maine Wildlife Park, Portland Museum of Art, Southworth Planetarium, and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

We have a limited number of passes. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Shared Borrowing Agreement 

Walker Memorial Library is a participant in the Minerva Shared Borrowing group and the Maine Reciprocal Borrowing program, allowing our patrons to go to other libraries and check out items off the shelf. For complete details about the Maine Reciprocal Borrowing program, please visit the  Maine Reciprocal Borrowing Program website.

Library cards must be in good standing. Please return the item to the library you borrowed it from. Each participating library reserves the right to limit what can be borrowed through this program. Items cannot be placed on hold. You must have your library card with you; staff will not be able to look you up by ID.
